Vicars Cross have just been awarded the EGU and EWGA GolfMark High Achiever Award and Club Mark accreditation

Introduction

Welcome to the Juniors' Section at Vicars Cross G.C. We have an ever growing number of junior golfers, boys and girls alike that form an important part of the golf club. The club is always very encouraging towards the juniors and has helped our Junior Section attain the EGU and EWGA GolfMark High Achiever Award and Club Mark accreditation.

The golf club is also in the process of registering as a "Starter Centre" and trains children to achieve "The Passport to Golf ". This encourages juniors of all ages to play golf and allows them to have taster golf-tuition sessions.

Competition

There are a vast number of competitions for juniors to play in and all juniors of all standards are encouraged to play with others (regardless of age or ability). We are a founder member of the West Cheshire and Borders League, this is a very competitive league with 10-12 teams competing in the local area. We also compete in the Chester League which is also very competitive.

Competitions run right the way through the year including a winter league to keep up the junior's interest during the winter months.
